Commit to your breathe
Yes, breathing keeps us alive … However, it is so much more
Take a deep breath with me as you read this webpage, please. One more full breath.
Okay, now read on -
Notice any changes that have just happened in your body. Have your thoughts started to race less? Do you feel some relief?
Our breath has profound effects on us, there is so much science and first hand accounts of the miraculous things it does that James Nestor wrote a whole book on it (Breath).
Now where does breathing with me play into this?
There are all different types of Breathwork practices - and more pop up every year! I like to guide Pranayama practices (educated through 3 different schools of thought - Meditation, Yoga and Breathwork) and an Active practice called Conscious Connected Circular Breathwork (CCB).
CCB has the power to be incredibly transformative when leveraged in a safe and intentional way. In my first CCB experience my emotional and mental states were impacted in ways I had never experienced before. I was immediately hooked. After becoming certified from my teacher I have been offering this modality since!
Combining Active practices with Calming practices is one of my favorite ways to guide a Breathwork session. If you are interested in any of the following breaths and would like to have a 1 on 1 session or bring me to your workplace to help ground, a conference to offer something unique, or a wellness pop-up please reach out.
